Rock Fall to Westlake 20-10

On a bitterly cold night in Round Rock, Rock fell short against a useful Westlake team. Trailing 15-0 at halftime, the Rock team learned you can’t give a good side that kind of headstart and expect to win. Despite outscoring their opponents 10-5 in the second half, and pressing all the way to the final whistle, it wasn’t enough.

Ryan Hallenberger was the standout player for Rock, prominent in both attack and defense and crowning a breakout performance with a brace of tries. He took forward of the game, and Kadin Dyess was back of the game.
