Rock Rugby has named the team to take on cross town rivals the Austin Huns as they kick off the season at the Todd Knight field this Saturday.

Fullback Brayden Harshaw, prop Bryce Sabin and back rower Xavier Bellow all make their Rock debuts, while Alex Harthcock and Lawson Weston make their first league starts.

Senior experience in the pack is provided by Ryan Hallenberger, Nico Regalado and Mason Gracian. Mathew Bruce forms a potent halfback partnership with captain Gavin Richards, while Brewer Dillon-Sauer and Sebastian Corbo are expected to pose running threats in the wider channels.

This will be the first competitive game the Rock club have played at their new home.
