Rock Rugby traveled down to the Alamo City this past Saturday and came away with an emphatic 7-56 victory over a young and tough San Antonio team.

The tries started in the 5th minute when center Brewer Dillon-Sauer sent a great pass out for flanker Xavier Bellow to break several tackles and crash over. Further first half tries came from debutant Erin Bolton, Jason Robinson and Ryan Hallenberger as the Rock team continued their exciting brand of running rugby, halfbacks Mathew Bruce and Gavin Richards pulling the strings and spinning the ball wide as they stretched to a 0-22 half time lead.

San Antonio started the second half strongly, pulling back a score before the Rock boys cut loose, with further tries from Sebastian Corbo, Mason Gracian, Brewer Dillon-Sauer and three more from debutant Erin Bolton bringing the final score to 7-56.

Erin Bolton took man off the match for his four try debut. Rock will play the Austin Huns next Saturday at Huns Field, kickoff is at 2pm.
