Recent Rock Rugby alumni Andre Greenup turned heads this past weekend at the College Rugby Championships in New Orleans.
Showing all the pace and skill we remember so well, the freshman was a key player for McKendree University, scoring 6 tries (including a hattrick against Nazareth) as they marched to the survivor title. He was also named to the “Team of the Championship“.
Looks like Andre is as much a standout at the college level as he was at High School. Not bad for a freshman from Round Rock, Texas.
We are very proud of Andre (and all of our alumni), and look forward to tracking his collegiate career (and beyond) in the coming years.
