Rock Rugby Men’s side was the youngest team at Freetail this year, and the men’s bracket was tough. However, Rock Rugby Academy Men’s team played hard against squads well-versed in 7’s Rugby. The men’s team also played against the 2020 7’s National Men’s club with renowned national players. Rock Rugby Men’s team ended with a 1 – 4 record and came in at 7th Place at the tournament.

Rock Rugby Alumni also played on our sister club, the Ragamuffins. Rock Rugby board member and web designer Justin Hale coaches the Ragamuffins, our sister club, and they scored some spectacular tries.

Rock Rugby Women’s side started Freetails slow but had a strong finish. Rock Rugby Academy Coach, Paul David (Coach Rock), said our women’s side “improved play throughout the week, and worked well together,” ending the tournament in 6th Place with a record of 1-3-1.

TheHarpooners went on to win the men’s side, while the Women’s Chicago Lions took the Freetail trophy home. t
